About the song: I wrote this pretty early on, and it’s still one of my favorites. I actually wrote it when I was studying for a vocabulary test and the word was “pyre”, so I wrote the “lift me up on a pyre” bit first and it kind of turned into a for real song. I’d really like to give it a proper recording one day. I think it could be really neat with some orchestration.
