I’ve been waiting on spring to change my life
All the beautiful things slowly coming through the ice
And suddenly it’s hard to believe that the blossoms were all buried in the trees for all this time

I’ve been waiting on spring to come around
I’ve been waiting on spring to talk me down
I’ve burst into flame, I’ve burst into fire, now I’m bursting into flower
And I am revived by the smell

Come for me when we’ve fallen through the cracks again
And suddenly it is all coming back again
If you need, I could whisper in your ear like it’s not been years since then

I’ve been waiting on you to change my mind
I’ve been waiting on you to break through the ice
And suddenly it’s hard to believe that we can feel differently than the flame that used to flower from the trees

Come for me when we’ve fallen through the cracks again
And suddenly it is all coming back again
If you need, I could whisper in your ear like it’s not been years since then

Come for me
I feel we’ve merely scratched the surface of this
It’s easy to sink
But I feel it could be worth it to swim
I believe in our chances so let’s chance this
Could we?
